Introduction
Welcome to Dream Views, the business name of me, Elena Francis, a local artist and photographer based in Calgary, Alberta. Dream Views is my creative storefront where I share artwork and designs on products such as apparel, stationery, and home décor.
I work with third-party suppliers to produce and ship these products. By browsing my website or purchasing through a supplier I link to, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use my site. I may update these Terms from time to time, and your continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
Third-Party Suppliers
When you choose a product on Dream Views, you are redirected to a supplier’s platform (such as Fine Art America, Le Galeriste, Etsy, or Zazzle) to complete your purchase.
Each supplier has its own terms, conditions, and privacy policies, which apply to your order.
Dream Views is not the merchant of record and does not control those policies.
I encourage you to review supplier policies before ordering.
I am not responsible for the content, security, or practices of those external sites. Visiting and purchasing from them is at your own risk.
Products, Orders, and Pricing
All products are made-to-order by the suppliers I work with.
The prices listed on Dream Views are the same as on the supplier’s site. I do not add markup or fees.
Checkout and payment happen on the supplier’s secure platform. Dream Views does not collect your payment information.
Taxes and shipping costs are calculated by the supplier based on your shipping address.
In case of any difference between what you see on Dream Views and the supplier’s platform, the supplier’s information always governs.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is handled directly by each supplier. Processing and delivery times vary.
Some suppliers ship worldwide; others only ship within Canada and the United States.
You will usually receive tracking details directly from the supplier.
Production times may take a few business days since most items are printed or made on demand.
Please check supplier shipping policies for details if you are outside Canada or the U.S. Any offer for a product is void where prohibited by law or where the supplier does not ship.
Returns and Refunds
Each supplier sets its own return/refund policy:
Fine Art America: 30-day money-back guarantee. Return shipping is not refunded unless the product is defective.
Zazzle: 100% satisfaction guarantee. Returns allowed within 30 days of receipt.
Le Galeriste: Items are non-returnable unless defective or incorrect (since everything is made-to-order).
Etsy: Policies vary by shop. Dream Views’ Etsy shop policy is listed on my Etsy store page.
Refunds are always issued by the supplier, not by Dream Views. If you have issues, you can contact me and I will help guide you through the right process or advocate with the supplier on your behalf.
Customer Service
Even though checkout is with suppliers, I am your first point of contact. Reach out to me for:
Questions about products.
Help with order status or shipping issues.
Support in resolving order problems.
I will do my best to make sure issues are resolved, even though suppliers handle the actual fulfillment.
Accounts and Newsletter
You don’t need a Dream Views account to shop (since orders happen on supplier sites).
I do offer an optional account for saving preferences and for future products I may sell directly.
If you subscribe to my newsletter, I collect your name and email address to send updates about new artwork, product releases, or promotions. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Privacy
Dream Views does not collect or store payment information.
I may receive limited details from suppliers (like your name or order confirmation) for record-keeping and support.
Any personal data you give me directly (newsletter or account) is used only for the purposes you agreed to.
I do not sell or share your personal data.
Suppliers have their own privacy policies that govern your checkout experience with them.
Intellectual Property
All artwork, designs, and photographs on Dream Views are my original creations unless stated otherwise. They are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or use my images or designs without my permission.
“Dream Views” and my logo are trademarks of my business.
Disclaimers
Dream Views is provided “as is.” I do my best to provide accurate information and quality products, but I cannot guarantee that:
Product descriptions or images are error-free.
Supplier websites will be available without interruption.
Products will always meet your expectations (though most suppliers offer satisfaction guarantees).
I make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the site or the products featured.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to using Dream Views or purchasing from suppliers.
In all cases, my maximum liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid directly to Dream Views (usually $0, since you pay suppliers directly).
Consumer protection laws in your area may still give you rights, and these Terms do not take away any mandatory protections.
Changes to Terms
I may change these Terms at any time. When I do, I update the “Last Updated” date at the top. By continuing to use the site, you agree to the new Terms.
Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, along with supplier policies, form the full agreement between you and Dream Views.
Severability: If one part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remain in effect.
No Waiver: If I don’t enforce a right under these Terms, it doesn’t mean I waive that right.
Governing Law
Dream Views is based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes must be handled in Alberta courts.
